Buttery toffee topped with rich chocolate and crunchy sea salt—this classic candy is simple and irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

 

  • Sea salt flakes

Instructions

  • Melt butter and sugar, cook until 300°F (hard crack stage).

  • Pour onto baking sheet.

  • Sprinkle chocolate chips, spread when melted.

  • Top with salt and nuts.

 

  • Cool, break into pieces.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for a week.

 

  • Use dark or milk chocolate as preferred.
