- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
- Add drumsticks and toss until fully coated in seasoning.
- Arrange drumsticks on the baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until skin is crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Drizzle with lemon juice before serving if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the drumsticks for the last 2 minutes.
- Use smoked paprika for deeper flavor.
- Marinate chicken overnight for even juicier results.
