Caprese Salad Skewers with Balsamic Glaze are a fresh and elegant appetizer featuring cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and basil leaves skewered and drizzled with tangy balsamic glaze. They’re easy to make and perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 cherry tomatoes
  • 20 fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • 20 fresh basil leaves
  • 23 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste (optional)
  • 20 toothpicks or small skewers

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
  2. Drain mozzarella balls and set aside.
  3. Thread one cherry tomato, one basil leaf (folded if large), and one mozzarella ball onto each skewer or toothpick.
  4. Arrange completed skewers on a serving platter.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.

Notes

  • Add a slice of prosciutto to each skewer for a savory variation.
  • Use marinated feta or goat cheese balls instead of mozzarella for a different flavor.
  • Try watermelon or strawberries in place of tomatoes for a fruity twist.
  • Sprinkle with dried oregano or Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; add glaze right before serving.
