Juicy mini meatloaves filled with gooey cheddar cheese for the ultimate bite‑sized comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 cubes cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175 °C (350 °F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form mixture into 12 small balls.
  4. Press a cube of cheddar cheese into the center of each ball and seal meat around the cheese.
  5. Place in a baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, until cooked through and cheese is melted inside.

Notes

  • Use mozzarella or pepper jack for a variation in flavor.
  • Add diced bell pepper or spinach for extra veggies.
  • Top with BBQ sauce or a ketchup glaze before baking for added flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in oven at 165 °C (325 °F) for 10 minutes for best texture.
