Cheesy Garlic Bread is a savory side dish made with crusty bread topped with a rich garlic butter mixture and melted cheese, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place cut side up on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
