These Cheesy Garlic Calzones are golden, crispy, and stuffed with gooey mozzarella, ricotta, and garlic butter. A perfect handheld pizza pocket for a delicious meal or snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Divide dough into 4 portions and roll into circles.
  • Mix ricotta, mozzarella, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon filling onto half of each dough circle, then fold and seal edges.
  • Brush with melted butter mixed with minced garlic.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
