Chicken Meatballs in Creamy Parmesan Sauce is a comforting and savory dish made with tender, seasoned chicken meatballs simmered in a rich garlic-Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect served over pasta, rice, or vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form into small meatballs (about 1 tablespoon each).
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return meatballs to skillet and spoon sauce over them. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use ground turkey as a substitute for chicken if desired.
  • Double the sauce if serving with pasta or rice.
  • Meatballs can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes as a lighter option.
