Chili Garlic Deviled Eggs are a spicy, flavorful twist on the classic appetizer, combining creamy yolks with a crisp garlic-chili topping and fresh green onions.

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oil for sautéing
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Peel the hard-boiled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks.
  2. In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar or lemon juice, and salt until smooth.
  3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  4. Heat oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Sauté the garlic and chili flakes until golden and crisp.
  5. Spoon the garlic-chili oil over the filled eggs.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
