2 ripe bananas
1cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
1/2cup freeze-dried strawberries
2 graham crackers or 1/4 cup granola (optional)
Instructions
Slice bananas into thick rounds (about 1/2 inch thick) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Freeze banana slices for 20 minutes until firm.
Crush freeze-dried strawberries and graham crackers (if using) into a fine crumble.
Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Add coconut oil if needed for smoother consistency.
Dip each banana slice halfway into melted chocolate, then immediately sprinkle with strawberry crumble.
Place dipped banana slices back on the baking sheet.
Freeze for another 15–20 minutes until the chocolate sets.
Serve frozen or slightly thawed for a softer texture.
Notes
Sprinkle with crushed nuts for extra crunch.
Use shredded coconut or dried mango for a tropical variation.
Add peanut butter to each slice before dipping for more richness.
Use dairy-free chocolate chips to make it vegan.
Store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
No reheating needed; let sit for a few minutes before serving if desired.
