Soft, chewy Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies loaded with rich chocolate chips and crunchy toasted pecans for the perfect sweet and nutty treat.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped (toasted optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  7. Scoop dough into balls (about 2 tbsp each) and place on baking sheet.
  8. Bake 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
