Chocolate fudge with sea salt is a rich, creamy treat made with melted chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and butter, finished with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt for the perfect sweet and salty balance.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt (plus extra for topping)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and 1/2 teaspoon sea salt.
  4. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
  5. Sprinkle additional flaky sea salt evenly over the top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Once set, lift fudge from the pan using parchment overhang and cut into squares. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor and texture.
  • Add chopped nuts or swirl in peanut butter for a variation.
  • Store fudge in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer storage.
  • Let fudge sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for a softer bite.
