Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups chocolate cookies or graham crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese (or 1 cup whipped topping)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce or dulce de leche
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits or chopped toffee candy bars

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix cookie crumbs with melted butter and press evenly into the bottom of the pan. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese with sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Spread over the chilled crust. Chill for another 15–20 minutes.
  4. Spread caramel sauce evenly over the cream layer.
  5. Heat heavy cream until just simmering, then pour over chopped chocolate. Let sit 1–2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Spread ganache over the caramel layer.
  6. Sprinkle toffee bits evenly over the top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
  8. Use a warm knife to slice into 16 bars. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor, or white chocolate for a sweeter version.
  • Try peanut butter cups, pretzels, or chopped nuts instead of toffee for different textures.
  • Chill fully before slicing to maintain clean layers.
  • Use a food processor for evenly crushed cookies.
  • Freeze uncut bars for up to a month; thaw in fridge before serving.
