1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
1–2 tablespoons cold water
1/2 cup heavy cream
100g dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, combine flour and powdered sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add cold water gradually and mix until dough forms.
Press dough into mini tartlet pans and prick the bottom with a fork.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden. Let cool completely.
In a small saucepan, heat cream until just simmering, then pour over chopped chocolate.
Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix.
Pour chocolate ganache into cooled tartlet shells.
Top with halved strawberries and chill for 1–2 hours until set.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
Notes
You can prepare tart shells a day ahead and store them in an airtight container.
Use high-quality dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
Garnish with mint leaves for an elegant presentation.
