Ingredients
Scale
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
2 chicken breasts, sliced thinly
Salt and pepper to taste
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the fettuccine pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in heavy cream and milk. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts for a juicier option.
Add steamed broccoli or mushrooms for extra vegetables.
