Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a comforting one-pot meal featuring tender chicken, pasta, and a rich, garlicky Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or preferred type)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Slice cooked chicken and return it to the skillet.
  8. Add drained pasta and toss to coat in the sauce. Use reserved pasta water as needed to thin the sauce.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
