Ingredients
Scale
6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs skin-side down and sear until golden and crispy, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Return chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side up. Spoon sauce over the chicken.
Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For extra richness, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
Boneless thighs or chicken breasts can be substituted but may require shorter cooking time.
