Crispy Beef and Cheese Stuffed Wraps are savory, golden-brown tortilla wraps filled with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and optional veggies, then pan-fried to perfection for a crunchy, satisfying bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers or jalapeños
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Stir in shredded cheeses and optional veggies if using.
  5. Lay out the flour tortillas. Spoon beef and cheese mixture into the center of each tortilla. Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a wrap.
  6. Heat a clean skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter or oil. Place wraps seam side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can make these ahead and freeze them before frying for a quick meal later.
  • Try adding a spoonful of sour cream or guacamole inside for extra flavor.
  • Switch up the cheeses or use ground turkey for a lighter version.
