These Chocolate Swirl Sugar Cookies combine classic sugar cookies with a rich chocolate twist. Soft, buttery, and perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

 

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugar, then add egg and vanilla.
  • Mix in flour to form dough.
  • Divide in half and mix cocoa powder into one half.
  • Roll both doughs together into a log and slice into swirls.

 

  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.

Notes

  • Add a touch of espresso powder for a mocha flavor.

 

  • Use white chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
