These crispy fried cheese bites are golden and gooey with a crunchy exterior. Perfect as an appetizer or party snack with your favorite dip!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • Oil for frying

 

  • Chopped chives for garnis

Instructions

  • Coat cheese cubes in flour, dip in eggs, then breadcrumbs.

  • Repeat for a double coating.

  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

  • Fry bites until golden brown.

 

  • Drain on paper towels, garnish, and serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Freeze the cheese before coating to reduce melting in oil.

 

  • Try cheddar, gouda, or pepper jack for variety.
