These crispy fried jalapeños bring the heat and crunch! Served with a creamy ranch dip, they’re a spicy snack or appetizer hit.

Ingredients

  • 8 fresh jalapeños, sliced

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup cornmeal or breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • Salt and pepper

  • Oil for frying

 

  • Ranch dressing for dipping

Instructions

  • Dip jalapeño slices in flour, egg, then breadcrumbs.

  • Fry in hot oil until golden.

 

  • Drain and serve with ranch.

Notes

  • Use pickled jalapeños for tang.

 

  • Air fry for a lighter version.
