Crispy Parmesan Bites are savory, golden-brown cheese crisps made with shredded Parmesan, perfect as a snack, appetizer, or salad topper. They’re easy to make and full of bold, nutty flavor.

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the grated Parmesan with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper if using.
  3. Spoon heaping teaspoons of the cheese mixture onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart. Flatten slightly.
  4. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes to firm up.
  6. Transfer carefully to a wire rack to cool completely and crisp up.
  7. Serve as a snack, with dips, or on top of salads and soups.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor; pre-shredded cheese may not crisp well.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
