Crispy Parmesan Roasted Tortellini Bites are a crunchy, cheesy appetizer or snack made with cheese-filled tortellini, coated in Parmesan and breadcrumbs, then baked or air-fried to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g (9 oz) cheese tortellini (refrigerated or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil (for baking or air-frying)
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) or preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cook tortellini in salted boiling water for 2–3 minutes (just until tender but not soft). Drain and let cool slightly.
  3. Set up a dredging station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a third.
  4. Dip each tortellini in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture, pressing to coat well.
  5. Place coated tortellini on a baking sheet lined with parchment or in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes or air-fry for 8–10 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Use meat or spinach tortellini for variety.
  • Air fryer yields a crispier texture with less oil.
  • Double the batch—they disappear fast!
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer to retain crispness.
