This Decadent Chocolate Ganache Cake is a chocolate lover’s dream! Moist chocolate cake layers with a rich, silky ganache frosting that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup hot coffee
  • 1 cup heavy cream

 

  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
  • Mix flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Beat sugar, eggs, buttermilk, and oil. Add dry ingredients.
  • Stir in hot coffee and mix until smooth.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool before frosting.

 

  • Heat cream and pour over chopped chocolate to make ganache. Frost cake
