1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
2 cups (340g) semisweet chocolate chunks
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
Whisk in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
