Golden, buttery, and flaky hand pies filled with a savory filling, perfect for snacks or appetizers!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup cooked and seasoned meat or veggies (chicken, beef, or mushrooms)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tsp Everything Bagel seasoning (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt & black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
  • Place a spoonful of filling and cheese in the center of each square.
  • Fold into a triangle or rectangle, sealing the edges with a fork.
  • Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with seasoning.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy. Serve warm!

Notes

  • Customize with different fillings like spinach & feta or ham & cheese.
  • Let them cool slightly before serving to avoid burns from hot filling.
