A comforting chicken dish baked with caramelized onions and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook onions in butter over medium heat until caramelized.
  • Place chicken in a baking dish, season, and pour broth over.
  • Top with onions and cheese.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
