This French Toast Casserole with Maple Syrup is a delicious breakfast dish made with fluffy bread, cinnamon, and a rich custard, then baked until golden brown. Perfect for brunch or a weekend treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread, cut into cubes
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

 

  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Prepare custard: Whisk eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  • Soak bread: Pour custard over bread cubes and let soak for 10 minutes.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden brown.

 

  • Serve: Drizzle with maple syrup and enjoy warm.
