Succulent shrimp sautéed in rich garlic butter and finished with fresh dill and lemon for a quick, flavorful, and elegant seafood dish.

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer.
  5. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  6. Remove skillet from heat and stir in fresh dill and lemon juice.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
  • Serve over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
  • You can substitute parsley if dill is unavailable.
