1cup sugar
1/2cup butter
1/2cup heavy cream
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/2cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Bake the pie crust at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
In a saucepan, melt sugar until golden brown, then stir in butter and cream.
In a separate bowl, whisk cornstarch with milk and add to the caramel mixture.
Stir continuously until thickened, then add vanilla.
Pour into the crust and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
