This Golden Caramel Pie features a rich, velvety caramel filling in a flaky crust, topped with a dollop of whipped cream for the perfect balance of sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup milk

 

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Bake the pie crust at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, melt sugar until golden brown, then stir in butter and cream.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk cornstarch with milk and add to the caramel mixture.
  • Stir continuously until thickened, then add vanilla.

 

  • Pour into the crust and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Sprinkle with sea salt for a salted caramel version.

 

  • Serve with vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
