Grape Jelly Meatballs are a classic sweet and savory appetizer made with frozen meatballs simmered in a rich sauce of grape jelly and chili sauce. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or game day snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • 1 cup grape jelly
  • 1 cup chili sauce (such as Heinz)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan or slow cooker, combine grape jelly and chili sauce. Stir until smooth.
  2. Add Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder if using, and mix well.
  3. Add frozen meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
  4. On the stovetop: simmer on medium heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are heated through.
  5. In a slow cooker: cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice for a main dish.

Notes

  • Beef, turkey, or plant-based meatballs all work well in this recipe.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
  • Can be made a day ahead and reheated before serving.
