These herbed cheesy baked sliders are packed with gooey cheese and layered in soft rolls, all brushed with a savory herb butter. Perfectly golden and irresistibly melty, they’re a hit for parties, potlucks, or an easy family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices mozzarella, provolone, or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. Without separating the slider rolls, slice them in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  3. Layer the cheese slices evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls on top to form a sandwich block.
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, onion powder, and salt.
  6. Brush the herb butter generously over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.
  7. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is fully melted.
  9. Let cool slightly, then slice into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

  • Customize with your favorite cheese blend—spicy pepper jack or creamy Swiss work well too.
  • Add deli meat like ham or turkey between the cheese slices for extra heartiness.
  • Leftovers can be wrapped in foil and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
  • Try adding a drizzle of hot honey or pesto inside for a flavor twist.
