Mini Grilled Mozzarella and Pepperoni are bite-sized sandwiches filled with gooey melted cheese and spicy pepperoni, grilled to golden perfection. Crispy on the outside and irresistibly melty on the inside, these mini treats are ideal for parties, snacks, or casual appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 810 mini sandwich buns or slider rolls
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella slices or shredded mozzarella
  • 2030 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Marinara or pizza sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet, griddle, or panini press over medium heat.
  2. Slice mini rolls in half and lightly butter the outsides. Sprinkle garlic powder or Italian seasoning on the buttered side if desired.
  3. Layer mozzarella and pepperoni slices inside each roll.
  4. Press the halves together to form mini sandwiches.
  5. Grill sandwiches for 2–3 minutes per side, or until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side.

Notes

  • Add sliced tomato or roasted red pepper for extra flavor.
  • Try provolone or fontina instead of mozzarella.
