These mini sausage sliders are packed with flavor from juicy sausage patties, fresh greens, and a hint of tangy mustard or aioli, all nestled in soft slider buns. A perfect bite-sized option for parties, brunch, or casual dinners.

  • 1 lb ground sausage (pork, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup mixed greens (arugula, spinach, or lettuce)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or aioli
  • 1 tbsp Dijon or whole grain mustard (optional)
  • Optional: sliced cheese, pickles, or caramelized onions

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground sausage with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Form into 12 small patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 3–4 minutes per side or until cooked through and browned.
  3. Toast the slider buns lightly, if desired.
  4. Spread mayonnaise or aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Add mustard if using.
  5. Place a sausage patty on each bun, then top with mixed greens and any optional toppings.
  6. Finish with the top half of the bun and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use spicy sausage for added kick or mild for a kid-friendly version.
  • Can be made ahead and kept warm in a low oven before serving.
  • Great served with a side of coleslaw, chips, or roasted veggies.
  • Try adding a fried quail egg on top for a brunch twist.
