Mini Spaghetti Pizza Buns are a fun and delicious twist on pizza night, combining cheesy baked spaghetti with savory pizza toppings, all nestled in soft dinner roll buns. Perfect as a party snack or kid-friendly dinner.

Ingredients

  • 810 dinner rolls or slider buns
  • 4 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni or chopped regular pepperoni
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and toss with marinara sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  3. Slice the tops off the dinner rolls and hollow out the centers slightly to make room for filling.
  4. Fill each bun with a spoonful of the spaghetti mixture and top with pepperoni pieces.
  5. Place filled buns on the baking sheet and lightly brush the tops with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until buns are toasted and cheese is melted.
  7. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use whole wheat or gluten-free buns if preferred.
  • Can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.
  • Add diced vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for more flavor and nutrition.
  • Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
