Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 batch pizza-flavored dough or basic bread dough
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked spaghetti, well-drained and tossed in 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan or shredded cheddar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190 °C (375 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. Spread the drained spaghetti mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and optional Parmesan or cheddar evenly on top.
  5. Roll dough into a log and pinch seam to seal. Slice into 1-inch buns using a sharp knife or kitchen twine.
  6. Place buns upright on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • Ensure spaghetti is well-drained to avoid soggy dough.
