This Mississippi Mud Cake is a rich, chocolatey delight layered with marshmallow, gooey ganache, and topped with chunks of chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

 

  • 1 cup chocolate chunks

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Whisk butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
  • Pour batter into dish and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle marshmallows on top and bake 5 more minutes.
  • For ganache, heat heavy cream and stir in chocolate chips.

 

  • Pour ganache over cake, then top with chocolate chunks.

Notes

  • Serve warm for extra gooey texture.
