Creamy mashed potatoes served with savory homemade mushroom gravy—perfect comfort food for cozy nights or holiday tables.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups mashed potatoes

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 onion, diced

  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced

  • 2 cups beef or veggie broth

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • 1 tsp thyme

 

Instructions

  • Sauté onions and mushrooms in butter until soft.

  • Sprinkle flour, stir well.

  • Pour broth slowly and simmer to thicken.

  • Add thyme, salt, and pepper.

 

  • Serve hot over mashed potatoes
