These no-bake pralines are a delicious combination of toasted pecans, coconut, and a rich caramel coating. A perfect Southern treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, toasted and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

 

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, heavy cream, and butter.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 235°F (soft ball stage).
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, salt, pecans, and coconut.
  • Drop spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.

 

  • Let cool for at least 30 minutes until set.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

 

  • Use a candy thermometer for best results.
