Ingredients
Scale
1 can (about 250g) refrigerated crescent roll or croissant dough
8 tsp Nutella (1 tsp per bite)
1 egg (for egg wash)
1 tbsp milk (optional, to thin egg wash)
50g dark or milk chocolate, melted (for drizzle)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the croissant dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Place 1 teaspoon of Nutella near the wider end of each triangle.
Roll each triangle starting from the wider end towards the tip to enclose the Nutella, forming a crescent shape.
Place the croissant bites on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk the egg with milk (if using), and brush the tops of the croissants with the egg wash.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Let them cool slightly, then drizzle melted chocolate over the top.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Use a piping bag for cleaner Nutella filling.
Can substitute Nutella with any chocolate spread or peanut butter.
Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for 1–2 days.
