These homemade cinnamon sugar churros are crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and served with a rich chocolate dipping sauce. They’re a carnival-style dessert made easy right in your kitchen!
1 cup water
2 1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
Oil for frying
In a saucepan, boil water, sugar, salt, and oil. Remove from heat, stir in flour until dough forms.
Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
Heat oil in a deep pan. Pipe strips of dough into hot oil and fry until golden.
Drain on paper towels and roll in cinnamon sugar.
For sauce: heat cream and stir in chocolate chips until smooth.
