Pan-Seared Cajun Salmon Fillets are bold and flavorful, featuring crispy, spice-rubbed salmon cooked to perfection and served with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Perfect for a quick and healthy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side up in the skillet and sear for 3–4 minutes without moving them.
  4. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3–4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute.
  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the Cajun seasoning to control the spice level.
  • Serve with rice, roasted veggies, or a green salad for a complete meal.
  • Use a cast-iron skillet for a crispier sear.
