This raspberry trifle is a heavenly layered dessert made with fresh raspberries, custard, whipped cream, and cake. A perfect showstopper for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 sponge cake, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (for soaking)
  • 2 cups custard
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Layer the Cake: In a trifle bowl, arrange sponge cake cubes and drizzle with orange juice.
  • Add Raspberry Layer: Spread raspberry jam over the cake and top with fresh raspberries.
  • Pour Custard: Evenly pour custard over the raspberry layer.
  • Top with Whipped Cream: Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla, then spread over custard.
  • Garnish & Chill: Top with more raspberries and refrigerate for 2-3 hours before serving.
