1lb sausage links, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2cup chicken broth
1/4cup heavy cream (optional)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Sear the Sausage: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sausage bites and cook until browned and cooked through (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
Make the Butter Sauce: In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add Liquid: Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in heavy cream (if using) and season with salt and pepper.
Combine and Serve: Return the sausage to the pan, coat in sauce, and sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley. Serve warm.
Notes
Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
