1lb ground chicken
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
2 green onions, finely chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce (for filling)
1 tbsp sesame oil (for filling)
1 tsp chili flakes (optional, for filling)
4cups chicken broth
2 tbsp soy sauce (for broth)
1 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp chili oil (plus more for serving)
1 tsp sugar
Salt, to taste
Extra chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
In a bowl, mix ground chicken, garlic, ginger, green onions, 2 tbsp soy sauce, sesame oil, and chili flakes until well combined.
Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold, and seal tightly.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook dumplings in batches for 4–5 minutes or until they float and are fully cooked.
Meanwhile, in a separate pot, bring chicken broth to a simmer. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili oil, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
Divide cooked dumplings into bowls and ladle hot chili oil broth over them.
Drizzle additional chili oil if desired, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve hot and enjoy the spicy comfort!
Notes
Adjust chili oil amount to control spiciness.
Dumplings can be frozen before cooking for future meals.
