Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340g) white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup red, white, and blue sprinkles (for coating)

Instructions

  1. In a heatproof bowl, combine white chocolate, heavy cream, and butter.
  2. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  4. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for 2–3 hours or until firm.
  5. Using a spoon or small scoop, portion and roll into 1-inch balls.
  6. Roll each truffle in the patriotic sprinkles to coat.
  7. Place on a parchment-lined tray and chill for another 30 minutes until set.
  8. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Use high-quality white chocolate for best results.
  • These truffles can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
  • Swap sprinkle colors to match other holidays or events.
  • If mixture is too soft to roll, chill longer or briefly freeze.
