Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles is a quick and flavorful Asian-inspired dish that features tender chicken, chewy noodles, and a rich, garlicky soy-honey sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes to make the sauce.
  2. Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Let it simmer and thicken for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and toss with a little oil if desired.
  7. Add noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the chicken and sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

  • Use tofu or vegetables like bell peppers and broccoli for a vegetarian version.
  • Add peanut butter for a nutty flavor.
  • Try udon, soba, or spaghetti noodles based on what you have.
  • Toss cooked noodles with oil to prevent sticking.
