Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, stir together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Whisk in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
  6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 22–25 minutes or until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely in the pan, then drizzle with caramel sauce before slicing.

Notes

  • Let the blondies cool fully before drizzling to prevent caramel from soaking in.
  • Use toasted macadamia nuts for a richer flavor.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days at room temperature.
  • For cleaner cuts, chill blondies before slicing.
