Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mushrooms (cremini, button, or mixed), sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella or cheddar cheese, shredded or sliced
  • Optional: ketchup or tomato sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice bread and lightly toast in the oven or a skillet until golden.
  3. In a skillet, sauté minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until golden brown and moisture has evaporated. Season with salt and pepper.
